GMT Watches

GMT watches have the ability to tack a second time zone using a third hand. This dedicated GMT hand moves once around the dial every 24 hours and is usually paired with a 24-hour scale. This allows the wearer to easily determine whether it is AM or PM in the second time zone. GMT watches first came into their own during the Jet Age of the 1950s, and have proved popular ever since. Today the GMT watch is one of the most useful complications as it allows for the wear to easily keep track of both local and home times whilst travelling abroad.
