SALMON COPPER
Finished in rich metallic tones of salmon copper and slate grey, the Durham is a prime example of how sleek and refined a cushion-cased watch can be. The sector dial is characterised by a striking raised circular ring, that contrasts sharply against the brushed salmon dial. The slate grey ring is also brushed, and on it are mounted glossy black batons and Roman numerals. The sharp dauphine handset is in a matching black finish, alongside the applied Farer logo beneath twelve o’clock. Lastly, there’s the seconds sub-dial at six o’clock, with a sunken ring punched through the rest of the dial and given a sharp engine-turned finish. The subtle details all come together to make up a design that gives a classical style a thoroughly contemporary update, that results in a watch that can be worn all day, every day.
Features
Sector Dial - The watch features a sector dial design, with the hour markers mounted onto a raised ring with a contrasting colour and texture to the main dial.
Curvaceous Comfort - The cushion case sits comfortably on any wrist, with a thickness of only 10.5mm and a compact lug-to-lug of 43.8mm.
Manual Drive - The watches in the Cushion Case collection are powered by Swiss hand-wound mechanical movements with custom decoration, which can be viewed through a sapphire case back.
STORY
Named after Mary Edith Durham, a British explorer, artist and anthropologist. She began to travel in the then hardly visited Balkans from 1900 for the next twenty years. She worked for a number of relief organisations and became a champion of the Albanian mountaineers whose lands were coveted by neighbouring nations. Her studies of Balkan ethnography led to a series of books, of which 'High Albania' is the best known and is still regarded as the best guide to the customs and society of the highlands of northern Albania. Her papers are held by the Royal Anthropological Institute, London.

If you look up the definition of elegance, you will find that it means “pleasingly ingenious and simple.” That is the Lethbridge in a nutshell.→
At 38.5mm wide with short, curved lugs, the Mansfield’s fully polished case sits perfectly on the wrist, relatively small and elegant, in a cool, distinctly modern way.→
