The Cushion Case collection was created around the concept of bold restraint, and these new 35mm models are the natural refinement of that original idea. The case design is based on the best-selling 38.5mm cushion case, first launched in 2022, but this smaller iteration takes the organic curves of the original and makes the angles more dramatic, with a steeper slope to the bezel. The result is a compact watch that still offers excellent presence on the wrist, and the bright dials draw the eye with their rich colours and unique patterns.

The 35mm Cushion Cases make use of the same complex dial construction first seen on our Three Hand Series III. This multi-stage process starts by pressing a unique pattern into the blank dial. This is then spray-painted multiple times before being coated in a clear lacquer that is polished to a glossy shine. The result is a dial that offers rich tones and an unmatched lustre.

This distinctive dial is housed within a sleek 35mm case that has a dramatic sloping bezel, whose polished surfaces catch the light from almost any angle. The case shape is carefully designed so that the curvature of the bezel extends down through the barrel-sided case sides, and the sloped bat ear lug design. A small but important detail is that the case is scalloped between the lugs, so that the strap sits snugly against the watch and appears integrated into the case.

Through the sapphire caseback, you can see the hand-wound Selitta SW210-1 b movement ticking away. The Swiss calibre offers a 45-hour power reserve, 18 jewels, and a 4Hz beat rate. As Farer always pays attention to the details, the Elaboré movement features Top Grade finishing, such as customised bridge engraving, perlage, and blued screws. This ensures that these watches are beautiful from every angle.
