ADVENTURE READY

First Launched: 2021

The dark navy blue of the Lomond dial is finished in a super matte finish, for minimal reflection and maximum clarity. The dial design is characterised by overprinted alternate numerals and markers in off-white SLN Grade A Super-LumiNova, contrasting the brushed steel sword hands infilled in light orange Super-LumiNova - giving a high-performance glow when the sun sets. The beacon red date pointer hand utilises the Farer 'A' marque to create a highlighter for the date, as it moves around the outer engraved date ring, flipping over to the next date at midnight. The final month-end numbers have been inverted from sky blue to burnt orange as a reminder to reset with the quick date function. A purpose-driven tool watch with classic Farer colour appeal.

NEARLY NEW - This watch is a “nearly new’ unit from our archive. As a result, it may have minor marks on the case. It has been carefully inspected and fully tested and comes with our full five-year movement guarantee.

PLEASE NOTE: These Lomond units are only supplied with a Chocolate Brown St. Venere Leather Strap.

FEATURES

To The Point - The defining element of the Farer field watch is its pointer date complication. It works by having a fourth hand "pointing" at the correct date from the scale printed around the outer edge of the dial.

Gear Train - The Field watches are powered by the Sellita SW221-1 automatic movement, an unusual calibre with a pointer date function, 41-hour power reserve and an in-built anti-shock system.

Land & Water - The field watch can go anywhere thanks to its flat sapphire crystal with three layers of internal anti-reflective coating, and a capable 200m depth rating secured with a screw-down crown.

Rock Solid - Designed to withstand the toughest conditions, the comfortably sized 38.5mm case is cut from 316 marine-grade stainless steel.

STORY

Named after Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park in Scotland. At its heart sits the great freshwater lake of Loch Lomond, 22.6 miles long and over 500 feet deep - with the wooded hills, lochs and glens of the Trossachs to its east. Traditionally considered the boundary between Central Scotland and the Highlands, it is home to Scotland’s most southerly Munro, Ben Lomond, which sits at 3,196ft.
