EFFORTLESS STYLE
The third iteration of the Stanhope builds on the sleek lines and contemporary textures that made the original so popular. This latest version of the Stanhope features a fully brushed bezel, which gives the watch a more sporty aesthetic. Meanwhile, the dial is made of several different elements and textures, housed within a refined cushion case. The main dial is off-white and stamped with a piqué texture. On top of this sits polished silver batons and numerals that are infilled with both midnight and steel blue. At six o’clock is a clean recessed sub-dial, with a red seconds hand and blue printing. The minute track on the Stanhope’s outer edge is also recessed, and it uses the same blue and red colour scheme for its printing. Every five minutes you’ll notice dots of blue luminous Super-LumiNova, mounted on raised wedges. Last is the rounded baton handset in glossy midnight blue, and filled with Super-LumiNova, for a clean and highly legible aesthetic.

STORY
Named after Lady Hester Stanhope, dubbed 'one of the most pioneering women in history’. Born in 1776, the English socialite and adventurer blazed a horse trail across the Middle East, a century before TE Lawrence, and her exploits were celebrated by writers and artists including George Eliot, James Joyce, Picasso and WH Auden. Lady Hester's archaeological expedition to Ashkelon in 1815 is considered the first modern excavation in the history of Holy Land archaeology.
